Fever, bloody sputum and dyspnoea on exertion in an adult male

We present a case of stage III sarcoidosis with some interesting and atypical findings, namely: a) initial presentation with alveolar opacities and findings more consistent with chronicity (fibrocystic lesions), b) presence of high and persistent fever, c) cutaneous lesions, d) peripheral eosinophilia, e) an accelerated clinical course, with complications shortly after diagnosis was established.
